Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a group of volunteers who work together to offer practical, emotional and spiritual support to hospice patients and their families. They may provide transportation to the doctor or grocery store. It may include people who do light housework, yard chores, preparing meals, making phone calls or providing social outings.

Anyone can start a Neighbors Helping Neighbors team. Teams are sometimes formed in congregations, civic groups and local companies.
